My local Fishery

This is the match lake at my local fishery just up the road from Tavistock town center where I live. In summer the lake is packed with features, islands, bars, lillies are all good fish holding spots. The lake is stocked with carp, bream,tench, skimmers, roach & rudd. All the usuall baits work, but in matches, pellet, paste & corn dominate. My biggest match weight here is 87lb, all caught on the long pole & pellet shallow (see rig below), this is currently the second highest match weight, But I intend to go one better this summer, he he.
